Not scientific, but matches other reports I’ve read – in terms of ratios, at least.
I actually already listen to a lot of content on my iPhone/iPad but do it using a sort of hack: the speak selection accessibility feature — but that’s essentially Siri reading to you, this is professional voice actors.
I do this too a lot, and on my laptop. The voice is monotonous however and soon becomes white noise and thus I forget I’m even listening. Umano is ok, it’s more human, but I’m not a huge fan of their curation. What if we created a user-generated version. Whereby users would record content as they read them. Potentially, there could be some sort of karma/micro-tip system built-in.
